Works have started for the creation of another metrology room, intended to accommodate our recently purchased <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>hi-tech equipment<\/strong><\/span>, which will allow us to <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>increase the number of available calibrations<\/strong><\/span> of <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>electric tools<\/strong><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>temperatures<\/strong><\/span>, as well as enhance our accuracy in the <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>dimensional field<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Below you can find a picture of the geological surveys we have made today in order to obtain a seismic classification of soils. It is the <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong><em>MASW<\/em><\/strong><em> (<strong>Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves<\/strong>)<\/em><\/span>, using Rayleigh&#8217;s active method for the spectral analysis of surface waves, whose function is to rebuild the vertical profile of sheer wave speed (Vs) of the site.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The surface waves are originated from the impact of a 8-kg stick on a Duralumin plate after a starter geophone has started the recording.
